Create Dashboards
Prerequisite
Before generating beautiful dashboards with our AI Data Analyst, make sure you have created/uploaded/connected a Data Source. For your data sources ensure the data schema is in english as Turbular is not designed to work with non english data schemas and performance may be heavily degraded. While the schema needs to be in english, individual data points can be in whatever language you choose. For example, you have uploaded a Excel File about sales data in german, naming the columns of the file "Order Date","Order Value","City" is fine, while using german columns like "Bestelldatum", "Verkaufswert", "Stadt" would lead to degraded results.
Getting Started
When opening the Dashboard you are presented with two options. Either you can continue working a dashboard you have created previously, or you can initialize a new dashboard to work on. Once you have selected one of these options you are then entering the dashboard editor.
Dashboard Editor
In the dashboard editor you are presented on the left sidebar with the chart options that can be displayed inside the dashboard. On the right side you can see a canvas. The chart options can be dragged with the mouse onto the canvas in order to be added to the dashboard. After a component has been added to the canvas it is in an empty state, by clicking on the Edit button a new window pops up in which the chart can be generated. Each component can be rearranged on the dashboard by clicking on the move button and holding it. Additionally, all components can be extended in size by clicking in the bottom right corner and dragging the mouse.
The following component types are supported:
- Table Component (A component displaying in tabular form)
- Chart Component (A component visualizing data a list of available visualizations can be found at Supported Visualizations)
- Display Component (A component displaying number changes)
- Display Spark Component (A component displaying number changes with a spark visualization)
- Spark Component (A component displaying a spark visualization)
Dashboard Headline
It is possible to change the name of the dashboard and assign a profile image to it, by clicking left of the dashboard headline.
